Programs

Emergency Assistance

We ensure that individuals and families facing sudden crisis can access essential resources without delay.
Our emergency assistance program includes:

  • Food & Meals: We distribute meals, groceries, and nutritional support through food pantries, mobile food banks, and partnerships with local shelters. This ensures that families facing hunger receive the sustenance they need immediately.
  • Clothing & Hygiene: We provide seasonappropriate clothing, hygiene kits, diapers, and other essentials to individuals experiencing homelessness or displacement.
  • Shelter Placement: We coordinate with local agencies to offer temporary shelter, hotel vouchers, and immediate housing referrals for those needing safe accommodations.

Housing and Structural Support Services

Safe housing is fundamental to health and stability. Rise & Restore’s licensed experts provide technical and financial assistance to ensure homes are safe, healthy, and habitable.

  • Mold Remediation: Our trained staff identify and remove hazardous mold, addressing moisture problems and preventing future growth. We provide education on moisture control and partner with health departments to mitigate health risks related to mold exposure.
  • Basement Waterproofing: We install waterproofing systems, repair cracks, and ensure proper drainage to protect homes from flooding and structural damage, preventing expensive repairs down the road.
  • Foundation & Structural Repair: We work with engineers and contractors to stabilize foundations and correct structural issues, prioritizing the safety and longevity of homes for families in need.

These services are available to homeowners, renters, and community organizations nationwide. We often combine structural repairs with financial counseling to ensure families can maintain their homes safely in the long term.

Financial Literacy & Economic Empowerment

Education is critical to breaking cycles of poverty. Our financial literacy programs provide the knowledge and tools individuals need to build secure futures.

  • Budgeting & Money Management: Participants learn how to create budgets, track expenses, build savings, and manage everyday finances. We use culturally competent curricula tailored to diverse communities across the nation.
  • Credit Building & Debt Management: Our counselors teach participants how to obtain and understand their credit reports, improve credit scores, and responsibly manage debt.
  • Homeownership & Rental Stability: We offer classes on navigating mortgage processes, understanding lease agreements, avoiding eviction, and accessing assistance programs.
  • Small Business & Entrepreneurship: In some regions, we partner with community organizations to offer microenterprise workshops, helping aspiring entrepreneurs develop business plans, apply for loans, and manage finances.

Workforce Development & Skills Training

Economic security requires stable employment. Our workforce programs build skills and connect participants to sustainable jobs.

  • SkillBased Training: We operate training centers and partner with vocational schools to teach construction, home repair, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical work—fields that have both national demand and local application.
  • Career Counseling & Placement: Participants receive resume assistance, interview coaching, and job placement services. We collaborate with employers nationwide to prioritize hiring our program graduates.
  • Apprenticeships & Paid Internships: We help participants gain handson experience through apprenticeship programs and paid internships that lead to fulltime employment.

Community Outreach & Advocacy

We recognize that homelessness and housing insecurity are systemic issues. Through outreach and advocacy, we work to educate communities and influence policy.

  • Partnership Development: We partner with schools, faith communities, healthcare providers, and other nonprofits to expand access to resources and coordinate community support networks.
  • Education & Awareness: We conduct seminars, workshops, and media campaigns on housing safety, financial stability, and public health risks associated with inadequate housing. Our resource guides help families identify signs of mold, understand their tenants’ rights, and access emergency assistance.
  • Policy Advocacy: We engage with lawmakers at local, state, and national levels to promote policies that increase affordable housing, strengthen tenant protections, fund emergency assistance programs, and support economic mobility. We mobilize supporters to advocate for these priorities through petitions and public testimony.
